All our Family Medicine Residency Programs have the advantages associated with being community-based programs that are University affiliated. UAMS Regional Center residents gain first-hand experience working in community hospitals while being trained and supervised by both faculty physicians and physicians in private practice.
The monthly stipend and benefits for UAMS Regional Center family medicine residents are the same as those provided to UAMS residents on the main campus and are on par with those provided by programs throughout the region. Our residents also receive the generous benefits package provided by the University of Arkansas System.
In collaboration with the UAMS Center for Rural Health's Division of Research and Practice Improvement, each UAMS Family Medical Center is actively implementing forward-thinking innovations in care delivery. From ePrescribing and Centricity's CareManager to participation in the Arkansas Practice Based Research Network, our Family Medicine Residencies are on the cutting edge.
